Organizing Yahoo Style:

I am not the most organized person in the world but I try hard each year to get better organized. I noticed, as my children get older I am able to do this better. I am not a spontaneous person and like things in writing and scheduled or I get frazzled and nervous.

In my pursuit of trying to find something to organize myself I have read tons of articles in magazines including books and after many trial and errors and the loss of my calendar or notebook I found the best system that worked for me was my yahoo planner via email.

Each morning and night I spend at least 30 min checking my email while I drink my coffee and drink my water. This is usually my quiet time like most moms its usually either early morning or night. What better way to tell me what to do that day then my personal email sent to me by my yahoo calendars.

If you subscribe free to yahoo email you will have the option of getting your own personal calendar. When you put something down you have the option of it emailing you telling you what you had put down. You can also repeat yourself each month, each week etc

Example: Since I dont clean my toilets every day I put it down for once a week chore. Since I dont change the sheets on my bed, or clean the stove I put this down on my yahoo calendar to remind me once a month or once a week.

First thing you need to do is go into each room and see what needs to be done.

Then when everything is written down assign it a place each week.

Pretty simple. Example can be found

If you know nothing of organization and want someone to help you here are some of my favorite organization links:

Flylady.com she nags, and nags its like your mother emailing you everyday but if you need that extra push each day than she is the lady to do it. When you first join all these emails will come and frazzle you, dont despair she says only read certain ones.
